Rosa 'Camp David'

Rosa Hybrid Tea 'Camp David'
This is a fantastic red rose. It is very free flowering, hardy and disease resistant. It was named for Camp David, the United States Navy installation in Frederick County, Maryland which is used as a country retreat of the US President and his guests.

  1. This is a beautiful rose. I'm afraid my knowledge of roses is limited to their colours. I liked your earlier post on the blue moon which was very interesting.

  2. Ian, this deep red rose looks similar to the red rose you featured several months ago, The Lincoln rose. Both are quite beautiful.

Camp David must be a bit like heaven for our Presidents and their families... a place to get away from the spotlight and out of the 'fishbowl' atmosphere of The White House.
