Tabebula chrysotricha, Golden Trumpet Tree

Tabebuia chrysotricha
 Golden Trumpet Tree
This Spring flowering tree makes a bold statement against a clear blue sky. It is native to Argentina and Brazil and grows to a manageable size of about 7metres. When the winter is dry, as it was this year, it loses most of its leaves and puts all its energy into producing a spectacular display of flowers. Tabebuia includes about 100 species of trees and shrubs mainly from the tropical and sub tropical parts of the world. In Spanish, it is given the common name of roble or 'oak' because some species produce excellent hard timber.
2017 update:I do not have any stock available.
