Plectranthus 'Nico'

Plectranthus 'Nico'
This is one of the excellent ground cover plants introduced by the Ball Horticultural Company of America via its Australian division. It produces pale mauve flowers later in the season but is really grown for the bright green and purple (underside) leaves. It will grow in dense shade or in some sun and forms a great weed barrier. During a dry spell growth will slow and it can be cut back to a central crown. Growth is rapid under warm wet conditions and it is easy to keep in check using hedge shears or even a line trimmer . Cuttings strike readily and can be placed direct where they are to grow in average garden soil.
2017 update: I always have stock available.
